Property Check has exciting contract employment opportunities for people interested in starting a career as a building surveyor and residential building inspections. Ranging from anywhere in Mid to North Canterbury and Marlborough. Experience and knowledge required

To apply to Property Check you will need at a minimum the following:

  • 10 years practical experience as a qualified residential carpenter/builder and currently registered as a Licensed Building Practitioner ; or Diploma in Building Surveying, Construction Management or Quantity Surveying with 10 years of experience in one or more of those fields and a current registered membership with an appropriate organisation
  • Sound knowledge of the materials and construction methods of residential buildings in New Zealand
  • The desire to work in the building inspection industry and develop professional work ethics and skills
