Property Check has exciting contract employment opportunities for people interested in a career in residential building inspection anywhere outside of Mid to North Canterbury and Marlborough and in New Zealand. Experience and knowledge required

To apply to Property Check you will need at a minimum the following:

  • 10 years practical experience as a qualified residential carpenter/builder and currently registered as a Licensed Building Practitioner ; or Diploma in Building Surveying, Construction Management or Quantity Surveying with 10 years of experience in one or more of those fields and a current registered membership with an appropriate organisation
  • Sound knowledge of the materials and construction methods of residential buildings in New Zealand
  • The desire to work in the building inspection industry and develop professional work ethics and skills
